BDN Ventures is an international operating company develops and owns new business concepts and companies and is and owned by Wessel Koning.

“BDN” stands for Business Development Network, since Business Development experience, skills and global network form the cornerstones of BDN Ventures.

Global BDN consists of a diverse and international team of Business Developers, contractors and specialists, both self-employed and professionals, connected to our inner circle network. Our team offers flexibility, efficiency and local knowledge in order to advise and fulfill contracts with the highest quality and expertise without having to pay for a large overhead.

Our team and partners all provide their own unique set of expertise and knowledge of the Local Market and Region or specific Industry. Global BDN can offer tailor made solutions for almost any challenges, connecting the dots between challenge and solution.

Global BDN hosts the online Global Business Development Network thah has thousands of members from 50+ countries and the initiator and organises Global BDN – Business Network Events. These 2 activities reinforce the global proposition and often lead to new partnerships and clients enabling us to "connect the dots".

About Wessel Koning

Wessel Koning is the founder and owner of BDN Ventures B.V. and several other ventures. Wessel holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration at the RSM Erasmus University and has 10+ years if experience in (International) Marketing, Sales & Account Management, New Product Introductions and Global Business Development.

Before founding BDN Ventures B.V. and Global BDN, Wessel was employed by Royal Philips Electronics in several commercial management roles, launching new technology products. In his last corporate position he was responsible for Global Business Development & Sales and the Asia Pacific Region at Philips Corporate Technologies, for the introduction of Philips WOWvx 3DTV (no glasses).

At the end of 2007 Wessel decided to leave the corporate world and started BDN Ventures B.V. in 2008. As a serial entrepreneur and advisor he is involved in various projects and new ventures, amongst others in Mobile Marketing, Games, Advertising, Entertainment, New Online Media, Crowdsourcing & Crowdfunding and Startups. Wessel has build a vast global network (Global BDN) and works with many qualified and experienced entrepreneurs, executives, professionals and business owners. Wessel currently lives and holds office in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
